Polson, Montana- The NSRA Winged Sprintcar Series would venture to Mission Valley Speedway on Saturday, July 7th for their one and only race in the state of Montana and it would be a packed house in the stands.  The hospitality from the 3/8-mile facility and the enthusiasm of the fans was top notch and the series hopes to work with the track in years to come.  Fourteen cars from the states of Idaho, Washington, and Oregon as well as the Canadian province of British Columbia would make the journey.

Spokane, Washington’s T.J. Sneva would pounce out in front of the field on the initial start to grab the lead.  He would remain there for the first two circuits before being passed by Randy DuBois.  DuBois, of Redmond, Washington, set a fast pace until lap ten when he lost the top spot.

Roseburg, Oregon teenager Kyle Alberding, racing for car owner Art Holte, made it past DuBois to become the new leader.  Alberding would blaze the trail the rest of the way to win his second main event of 2018 with the series.

Randy DuBois was a respectable second while Ron Larson, of Quesnel, British Columbia, placed third.  Andy Alberding, also of Roseburg, Oregon, crossed the wire in fourth and finishing fifth would be Aaron Willison, racing for car owners Rod and Gord Rendle, from Langley, British Columbia.  Heat race winners were DuBois and Granite Falls, Washington chauffeur Jason Thomas.

The NSRA Winged Sprintcar Series will take the rest of the month of July off before returning to racing for the Rory Price Memorial.  Evergreen Speedway, in Monroe, Washington, will once again be the host of the event and it will occur on Saturday, August 4th.
